Programs and Services: FOCES on Community Employment Success (FOCES)
The FOCES (FOCES On Community Employment Success) is a social rehabilitation program with an emphasis on pre-employment training. Through a process of skill development and goal orientation, the FOCES program staff work with individuals to identify their particular interests and strengths so they will be as prepared as possible to pursue, attain and maintain employment either on a part time or full time basis.
Strategies
By
using a series of group experiences such as anger management, stress
management, coping skills, and daily living skills, the individuals are
able to develop problem solving skills for everyday life. These group
experiences will also assist the individual in making better decisions
that will encourage personal and professional growth.
Socialization
The FOCES program maintains a consistent social and recreational calendar so individuals will have the opportunity to use their acquired interpersonal skills in most any social situation where problem solving takes place.
