All positions require an Act 33 and Criminal History Clearance. Please note that most positions require a valid driver’s license. The primary duties of all positions is to perform in accordance with agency policies, procedures and regulations. The positions listed below correspond with the current job openings, other positions are not listed.

Habilitation Staff

Habilitation Staff will assist and participate in the direct care services of mentally /physically handicapped individuals in a group home setting. Physical care, behavioral intervention and activities of daily living are a few of the responsibilities involved with this position. Staff will work under the supervision of the Manager/ Assistant Manager.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in human services is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.

Habilitation Staff-In Home Services

Work in a family or individuals home to implement formal program, skill training and support for the individual. Staff will be required to perform duties associated with programs, skill training and support for the individual. Staff will be required to perform duties associated with program operation. This person works under the supervision of the Program Director.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma plus one year of experience in human services is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable. All staff must be at least 18 years of age.

Behavior Habilitation Staff

Behavior Habilitation Staff will assist and participate in the direct care services of mentally /physically handicapped individuals in a group home setting. In addition to physical care and activities of daily living, interventions focused on behavioral issues are more complex in this position.  Staff will work under the supervision of the Manager/ Assistant Manager.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED plus one year of experience in human services is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.

Assistant Habilitation Manager

The Assistant Habilitation Manager will supervise and coordinate all services related to the provision of services in the group home.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human services or related field is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.

Assistant Behavior Habilitation Manager

The Assistant Behavior Habilitation Manager will supervise and coordinate all services related to the provision of services in the group home under the supervision of the Habilitation Manager. Skills involve physical care of individuals, behavioral intervention, activities of daily living as well as direction/supervision of staff in programming, training and operation aspects of the home.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in human services or related field is preferred OR an equivalent combination of experience and training is acceptable.

LPN

The LPN will assist in the coordination and direction of all health care services in a  group home. Under the supervision of the Habilitation Manager the primary duties of this position are to be performed in accordance with agency standards and applicable regulations. Duties may include formal evaluations, programming, recordkeeping, nursing duties, as well as daily operation of the facility.

Qualifications
PA Licensed Practical Nurse, six months experience in related nursing field is preferred.

Personal Care Aide

The Personal Care Aide will assist and participate in the direct care services of individuals under the supervision of the VR Program Supervisor.  In fulfilling this job, one must be able to move about the program and be able to perform safety support skills.  In some situations, the performance of Physical Crisis Intervention skills may be required.

Qualifications
            High School Diploma and one year of experience in industry or rehabilitation.

Job Coach/Work Supervisor

The Job Coach must be knowledgeable regarding community employment sites, provision of job skills, training and support, assistance with social adjustment in the work setting, acting as a liaison between Hope and the employer, as well as working with others to insure a successful job placement for the individual.

Qualifications:
Associates degree in Human Service or Business field, plus experience in a community placement or job training program or an equivalent amount of education and experience. Knowledge of local business and industry desirable.

Job Coach

Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor of Community Employment Services (CES) and the Assistant Program Supervisor - FOCES Program. Provide day to day operation of the employment and social rehabilitation program. Provide direct employment  and social skills services to people with severe mental health and mental retardation. Perform a variety of social services duties designed to provide support and training to individuals with mental health and mental retardation.

Qualifications
Associates degree in Human Services or Business field plus experience in a community placement or job training program or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

Van Driver

The van driver is responsible for the safety of the individuals and the safe operation of the van. In fulfilling this job, one must be able to drive an agency vehicle and assist individuals in and out of the van. The above can be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. Valid PA drivers license. Safe driving record. Driver's record will be checked by Hope Enterprises, Inc.'s insurance company.

Instructional Aide

The Instructional Aide assists the Early Learning Teacher in providing an appropriate program to the children enrolled in the Early Learning Program. This includes planning activities, data collection, planning functions, as well as other duties. A full time aide generally assumes more responsibility in the classroom than a part time aide.

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or high school diploma and experience with young children is required for this position.

Secretary II

The Residential Secretary II is responsible for performing various secretarial services at the BRC including but not limited to clerical support for programs and services staff, case records maintenance, residential supply ordering, client database input, etc. Assisting callers and visitors at the front desk on an as needed basis.

Qualifications
High School diploma with appropriate business courses plus two years of experience in clerical or secretarial work. Demonstrated work processing/computer, grammar, proofreading and clerical ability necessary. Relevant formal post high school education may be supplement actual work experience.
