Programs and Services: Job Placement & Training
Community Employment Services
Hope Enterprises, Inc. has offered employment services for people with
mental retardation since 1993. Job placement and training services
through Community Employment Services have resulted in over 70 people
being placed in competitive employment in various businesses in the
community. A few of the employers are Weis Markets, Red Lobster, Olive
Garden, and Wendy’s. New job placements are developed based on each
person’s skills and abilities. This highly successful program results in
dependable, productive and dedicated workers.
Community Access Program
The Community Access Program was begun in 2003 in response to the need
to develop job readiness skills for people with mental retardation in
preparation for competitive employment. An individualized approach to
the person’s needs has resulted in a variety of experiences and
training. The program’s capacity is ten people. Located in an integrated
business setting, the participants have fun while learning needed
skills.
FOCES Program
FOCES
stands for FOCES on Community Employment Success. The
FOCES Program was developed to help
prepare individuals to pursue employment in the community. Individuals
learn skills and management of daily life to FOCES on Community
Employment Success.
