Each job or class of jobs has a pay grade. Usually new employees with
little experience will begin in an entry level position. With experience
and a proven track record, employees can move to a position with more
responsibility and higher pay.
Every job position announcement has the positions and wages listed. It will also include any special qualifications required for the position.
