Planned Giving: Help Now Through Planned Giving
Hope Enterprises, Inc. programs are enhanced through the generosity and commitment of people involved with Hope and throughout the communities served by this organization. A planned gift helps to ensure the future of the services and programs and may further your financial goals.
Acceptable Planned Gifts
Planned gifts may include gifts through your will, life income, life insurance, pooled income funds, charitable trusts and gifts of retirement plans.
Gifts Through Wills and Living Trusts
A gift through your will or living trust is simple to arrange. A
provision in your will (prepared by your attorney) is all that is
necessary. Gifts through wills are popular because they are easy to
arrange and can be revised at any time you choose. You may give the
remainder of your estate, after all other bequests are satisfied. You
may designate a percentage of your estate to be given to Hope
Enterprises Inc. You may leave a specified dollar amount, designated for
a specific purpose or for general use. You may provide a gift of
specific property such as real estate, stocks, or items of value. You
may also name Hope Enterprises, Inc. as a contingent beneficiary in the
event that other heirs are not able to receive their legacies.
Other Planned Gifts
Charitable lead trusts may benefit Hope Enterprises Inc. with the principal passed to family members with little or no tax penalty. A charitable remainder trust may be set up to benefit the income beneficiaries as long as they live with the principal donated to Hope. Individuals with Individual Retirement Accounts, 401(k) or 403 (b) may donate them to Hope Enterprises Inc. upon their death, thereby eliminating income and estate taxes.
